Are duties payable on import?

That depends on product group, classification and evidence. The customs union simplifies much but is not blanket duty exemption. Only the customs authority or the customs agent in the destination country is binding.

Who handles customs clearance?

Usually a forwarder with a customs agent in the destination country. MODUNERA supplies the product-side documents for it.

Is importing into Switzerland more expensive?

Above all it is different: separate rules, separate clearance, separate lead time. The cost difference emerges per project.

Can I reclaim import VAT?

That is a tax question in the destination country and depends on the buyer's status. It belongs with local tax advice rather than a manufacturer's quotation.

Hosting

The site is served as static pages by Netlify. On each request the host processes technically necessary connection data (IP address, time, file requested, browser identifier among others) in server logs. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and uninterrupted operation, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Storage in your browser

The site stores data only locally in your browser (localStorage), not on our servers:

mcCookie – your choice in the cookie notice.
modunera-wa-dismissed – whether you dismissed the WhatsApp notice.
mcLeads – the entries you made in a project form.
Saved configurations from the Design Studio.

This data does not leave your browser automatically. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

Project enquiries

When you submit a project form, the entries — name, e-mail address, telephone number where given, delivery location, intended use and your project description, and for the project-proposal form also organisation, role, project details and budget band — are transmitted to Netlify Forms and stored there in our account until we retrieve and delete them. The service provider is Netlify, Inc. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures); we additionally obtain consent to storage through the mandatory field in the form.

A copy of your entries also stays locally in your browser so the form is pre-filled on your next visit. You can delete that copy at any time through your browser settings.

After submission WhatsApp also opens with a prepared message. This is optional: your enquiry has already reached us at that point. If you send the message there, the privacy terms of WhatsApp, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, apply in addition.

Analytics and marketing

No analytics, marketing or tracking services are currently active. The technical provision for them exists in the source but has no effect without configured identifiers. If such services are used in future, that will happen only after your consent and will be named here beforehand.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. An e-mail to emre@modunera.com or a message to the telephone number given in the legal notice is enough to exercise them.

Retention

Enquiries received through a form are processed for the duration of the quotation and project handling and within statutory retention periods. Data stored locally in your browser stays until you delete it.
