Tiny house in the Lüneburg Heath
The Lüneburg Heath is the region of the large parks: holiday parks, camping parks and leisure sites between Hamburg, Bremen and Hanover, with level sites, short ways from the cities and ground that is sand almost everywhere. For series projects it is one of the simplest regions in the country — if the sand is considered at placement.
In the Heath series projects are planned for large parks: identical units, standardised access and placement, operator rules as part of the calculation. The sandy ground demands load distribution under the supports and drainage that soaks away. The town pages lie in Lower Saxony; the state page names the official source.
Large parks, series projects
The Heath has more large holiday and camping parks than any other region in the north, and for them tiny houses are series projects: twelve identical units, one layout, one facade, one delivery in the closure. The operator page for holiday parks and resorts describes how that is decided, and the practice series how twelve wishes become two variants.
Sand: load distribution and soakaway
Sand bears if the load is distributed and gives way if it is not. Under every support therefore belongs a plate that distributes the load, and the levelling is checked after the first rain. In return rainwater soaks into sand almost everywhere, which makes roof drainage simple — what the site rules say about it still applies first.
Near the city, level, reachable
Access and transport are rarely a hurdle in the Heath: level sites, wide tracks, short distances to the motorways. That also makes the region interesting for housing projects and tiny-house villages that grow in stages — the operator page for tiny-house villages and eco-villages describes what has to be clarified.
What applies under planning law is on the state page, with the official source:
